Roadmap
DocHound starts with the directory, because a request sent to the right place with the right paperwork has the best chance of coming back. The order is our plan today, and it will change with what we learn from firms.
Building now
Shared provider directory
Where each provider takes records requests: the department, the route, what the request needs, what it costs and how long it takes, with a confidence score on every route and a private space for each firm’s notes.
Next
Design partners
Working with our first firms to fill in the providers they use and change the product based on their feedback.
Later
Provider listings
Records departments can claim their listing for free and keep their own routes, requirements and fees up to date. Firms’ results can still flag a route that stops working.
Later
Network data
Typical turnaround and common rejection reasons, built from the results firms log. No single firm can build this on its own.
Later
Sending requests from DocHound
An eventual goal. We will have HIPAA controls in place before DocHound handles any patient information.
Later
Case management connections
Connecting DocHound to the case management software firms already use.
