Security and data handling
Medical records are some of the most sensitive documents a firm handles. This page describes how DocHound is designed to handle them, and why we aim to keep the burden on your security review light.
Ask for less
DocHound works from the authorization form and the details of the request. It does not need your full case file, and it does not need access to your case management system to check, send and follow a request.
Keep access narrow
People sign in with their own accounts, and each firm's matters and documents are kept separate from every other firm's.
Protect data in transit and at rest
Documents and request data are encrypted when they move between your browser and DocHound, and when they are stored.
Keep a record of what happened
Every request keeps a history of what was sent, when, and to whom, so your firm can answer for any step.
Bring your firm’s security questions.
Your firm has its own vendor requirements. We will go through them with you during a demo.
